With this importance, Muğla, which reached 2.46 million in the number of foreign tourists, hosted 2.79 million tourists in 2019. Muğla, whose number of citizen tourists exceeded 154 thousand, hosted 176,000 people in 2019.

Status by market

England took the first place in the number of foreign tourists, reaching 1.12 million. It was followed by Russia with 311 thousand, Germany with 187 thousand, Poland with 157 thousand and the Netherlands with 92 thousand.
While the UK and German markets surpassed 2019, Russia was left behind.
