According to the data of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), in the January-September period of 2022, the total number of international and domestic passenger traffic at Turkey’s airports increased to 137.7 million. In the 9-month period of 2019, the outbound-inbound passenger traffic at Turkey’s airports was around 161 million.

Air passenger traffic in tourism centers

Air passenger traffic in Istanbul, one of the tourism centers in international flights, exceeded 35 million in 9 months, and 2019 has been exceeded.
