In August 2022, hotel investments with incentives in Turkey will spend 4.4 billion TL in 33 projects.
According to the data compiled by Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, hotel investments with incentives in Turkey reached 4.4 billion TL in August 2022. 3.24 billion TL will be spent for 17 new facilities in hotel projects and 1.05 billion TL will be spent on 16 renovation projects.
Antalya with 1.73 billion TL and İzmir with 1.13 billion TL, followed by Muğla with 0.84 billion TL in total facility projects with 15817 beds.

Antalya is ahead in renovation

While Antalya stands out with 0.81 billion TL in renovation projects worth 1.05 billion TL, İzmir with 1.04 billion and Antalya with 0.91 billion are ahead in new hotel investments worth 3.24 billion TL. Muğla follows them with 0.84 billion.

Eight month status

With the incentives received in the January-August period, 24 billion TL will be spent at 192 facilities. A budget of TL 8 billion will be spent on 16 new hotel projects and 83 renovation projects.
In the period when a total of 76 thousand beds are within the scope of the incentive, nearly 24 thousand new hotel beds will be built and more than 52 thousand beds will be renewed.
