Istanbul ranked first among the provinces in 2019 with an increase of 197 thousand in the number of tourists. It was followed by İzmir with an increase of 163 thousand, Aydın with an increase of 136 thousand, and Trabzon with an increase of 112 thousand. Although not all of them are touristic, Edirne, Şırnak, Kayseri, Kırklareli, Van, Iğdır and Hakkari were also among those who passed 2019.
