According to data from IdeaWorksCompany’s CarTrawler Yearbook of Ancillary Revenue, increased airline ancillary revenue in 2021 was a major source of revenue. Pegasus is in the top 10.
Average ancillary revenue per passenger averaged $29.96 across 75 airlines in 2021. This exceeded the 2019 data of $21.54 by $8.42.

Wizz Air was the leader of Europe in terms of the share of ancillary revenues in total turnover with 56%. It was followed by Frontier and Sprit. Pegasus Airlines is also in 10th place with 30.8%. Pegasus increased its ancillary income ratio by 10.2 points compared to 2019.
