Turizm istatistik merkezi Turizm Databank’ın yaptığı analze göre, 2022 yılı ilk yarıda, Akdeniz’in en çok turist alan 4 destinayonu içinde, turist gecelemesi 2019 yılını aşan tek ülke Türkiye oldu.
Akdeniz’in en çok turist alan destinasyonları olan Fransa, İspanya, İtalya ve Türkiye 2022 yılında, 2019 yılı turist sayılarına yaklaştı. Ancak durum gecelemelerde farklılık gösterdi: turist gecelemesi 2019 yılını aşan tek ülke Türkiye oldu.

Yabancı turist gecelemesinde 2019 yılını aşan tek ülke 1 milyonla Türkiye oldu. 2019 yılına göre gecelemeler; İspanya’da 15 milyon, İtalya’da 13 milyon ve Fransa’da 9 milyon düşük kaldı.

In the first half of 2022, Turkey was the only country in the Mediterranean’s 4 destinations with the highest number of tourists, with overnight stays exceeding 2019. According to the analysis made by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, in the first half of 2022, Turkey was the only country among the 4 Mediterranean destinations with the highest number of tourists, with overnight stays exceeding 2019.
France, Spain, Italy and Turkey, which are the destinations that receive the most tourists in the Mediterranean, approached the number of tourists in 2019 in 2022. However, the situation differed in terms of overnight stays: Turkey was the only country with tourist overnight stays exceeding 2019.
Turkey was the only country to exceed 2019 in terms of foreign tourist overnight stays with 1 million. Overnight stays according to 2019; 15 million in Spain, 13 million in Italy and 9 million in France remained low.
