According to the TurkStat Turnover Index, which is calculated from the invoiced sales and compiled by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from TurkStat, the turnover index of the services sector in Turkey increased by 127% annually in November 2022, while the turnover index of the hotels increased by 139%.
Increase in turnover in the sector
Turnover index on an annual basis; increased by 139.2% in accommodation and 144.7% in aviation. On the other hand, turnover in travel agencies increased by 172.2%.
