Cruise passenger traffic revived.

Cruise passenger traffic in Turkey reached 34,988 in the 4-month period of 2022. Last year, no number was recorded in 4 months. Rival Spain, on the other hand, increased from 172 thousand to 1.5 million passengers in the 4 months of this year.

Traffic revived in April

According to information compiled by Turizmdatabank from ministry data, cruise passenger traffic in Turkey revived in only 9 ports in the 4 months of 2022. Until April, passengers were registered at 3 ports.

In 4 months, Kuşadası and Istanbul became the ports with the highest number of entries.

Them; Bodrum, Çeşme, Alanya, İzmir, Marmaris and Bozcaada followed suit.
