According to the data obtained by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from TÜİK, housing purchases by foreigners in Turkey exceeded 45 thousand in the eight months of 2022. Last year’s purchases were around 31 thousand.
Foreigners who buy the most housing in Turkey
In the January-August 2022 period, the Russians are in the first place with the purchase of 8115 thousand houses. It was followed by Iran with 5948 and Iraq with 4822 residences. Among the most residential areas, Kazakhstan, Germany and Ukraine followed.
