Greece tourist data announced

In the January – April 2022 period, tourists from Germany increased by 508% to 301,300 passengers, while those from France increased 10 times to 146,100. Tourist traffic from the UK also increased by 1,048% to reach 214,900 passengers, while those from the USA reached 79,300 passengers. Tourists from Russia also increased by 1.050% to 11,600 passengers.

2022 tourism income in Greece

According to the information compiled by the Tourism Databank, which specializes in tourism statistics and analysis, from the data of the Greek Central Bank, travel revenues increased by 576% in the January – April 2022 period, reaching 1,116,700,000 Euros.

Revenues from Germany increased by 533% to 177.7 million euros, while revenues from France increased by 1.13% to 99 million euros. Revenues from the UK increased by 1,229.8 to 128 million euros, while revenue from the USA increased by 2,098% to 67.4 million euros. Arrivals from Russia increased by 503% to 7.8 million euros.
